GTA IV is running Very Slow/lags. In this video i am gonna so how to FIX GTA IV Slow Running Problem/LAG If it works then like and subscribe me:D Follow. Lag after upgrading to Windows 10 I'm experiencing some serious lag issues, at random times, my game will change to window mode/lag like hell (5FPS). I have a GTX 970 and i7-4790K processor.

Right-click on GTA 4 in Steam, and click on Properties. Click on Set Launch Options. And a window with a TextBox will appear. In that TextBox, paste these arguments:-nomemrestrict -norestrictions and GTA 4 should run with a huge speedup. I7 3770K 32 GB RAM GeForce GTX 680. GTA used to run on max settings at around 20-35 FPS. So for the last few days Ive had this really annoying stutter in my game, and Ive tried everything and cant figure it out. Posting it in this dead Help & Support place is my last ditch effort to try and fix this. It happens in both my EFLC and GTA IV. Ive tried different commandlines, graphic.

  • Windows 7 64bit Core 2 Quad 2,67 Q6700 6 GB Ram DDR2-800 Geforce 8800GT (512MB DDR3) MSI P6N SLI (MS-7350) after that i digged up my old copy of gta IV, installed it and noticed that the game lags too! But way more than EFLC. And it 'time dependant' - sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to start, sometimes it 'starts from the start'.
  • After I first upgraded to windows 10, GTA 5 would not run with out killing my frame rate. Then I saved and closed GTA 5 and verified the files. Then I restarted the game and it wouldn't load after the launcher, so I had reverted my OS back to Win 7 pro and the game ran fine, I didn't run into any problems.
